We took our first family vacation to
the beach. We stayed at a condo on
the beach in Sunnyside, Florida.
Stephen loved the sand but he was
not very fond of the ocean.
Although, he did enjoy watching it,
the water scared him when it got him
wet. He loved the pool and floated
around for about 30 minutes playing
with toys and Brian and I.We were
lucky enough to get to visit Brian's
sister and brother in law while we
were in Flordia. We drove to
Jacksonville to spend the night.
Stephen loved seeing all the animals
that his Aunt Stephanie and Uncle
Joe had.
Our final stop in Florida was
near Orlando. We watched the
Atlantis Shuttle launch. It was a
wonderful experience for us all. We
can't wait for Stephen to understand
what he witnessed at such a young
age.
It was a long journey but a fun
one for sure. Stephen did a great
job on his first road trip and we
look forward to many more. |
